Each lesson is broken down as follows:
-Warm-Up slide allowing students to see spiraled content, along with information beneficial to furthering their knowledge in the days lesson
-Notes slide for the days topic
-ICA (In Class Activity) slides (3-5 per lesson) allowing student progression in the new content through scaffold independent practice. These include individual, partner, and group practice
-Closure slide allows students to exhibit their level of knowledge at the end of class
-Homework Slide gives students extra practice to help them Exceed each lessons content area.
Also included are 2 writing prompts per lesson to give students a cross curricular learning experience and express their level of understanding through writing in complete sentences.
The Smart Boards are set up for completion in an Interactive Notebook, but can also be completed within a normal notebook. (If you need help with Interactive Notebooks, check out my store!!!!!! I have many different items explaining how to use, make, and build these items for your class. You will not regret it and your students will love it.)
Lesson Break Down:
-Week 1, Lessons 1-2: N.RN.3 (Rational and Irrational #'s) Lesson 1 introduces perfect squares and discusses how radicals can be rational or irrational. Lesson 2 works with radicals, integrates geometry into the ICA problems.
