Algebra 1 - Solving Systems of Linear Equations Graphic Organizer
This is a great reference for students to help them remember the different ways to solve systems of linear equations (graphing, substitution, elimination by adding, and elimination by multiplication first). The way it is set-up is easy to follow. The different ways are to be written at the top and then an explanation of when to use and how are written in the next box. At the bottom, students work out an example of each. The filled out example provided shows all four ways with equivalent equations resulting in the same answer. My students are reminded to pull this out when they have questions. I hope that it helps your students too!
There are two files - a pdf and a word document.
