### Description

This project was designed to be used at the end of the school year. However it could be done at any time during the year after radical operations and solving quadratics. In this project, students are competing against one another to be chosen as the "winning" restaurant. Students are required to choose a theme for their restaurant, create a layout (using root dimensions), calculate area, create a billboard, create a menu (with quadratic prices), and finally to create a presentation highlighting their restaurant to their classmates.

They will work on the project for a week in class and then present to the class the following week.

The file is Microsoft Word and can be edited to your liking. Rubric included.

### Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Use coordinates to compute perimeters of polygons and areas of triangles and rectangles, e.g., using the distance formula.
Factor a quadratic expression to reveal the zeros of the function it defines.
Interpret expressions that represent a quantity in terms of its context.
Use square root and cube root symbols to represent solutions to equations of the form 𝘹² = 𝘱 and 𝘹³ = 𝘱, where 𝘱 is a positive rational number. Evaluate square roots of small perfect squares and cube roots of small perfect cubes. Know that √2 is irrational.
