My state adopted the curriculum of the Common Core in 2012 - 2013. Lacking resources, I created this Jeopardy game to help my students review for their midterm in Algebra 2, repackaged as Common Core 3. The Jeopardy game is broken down into 5 categories, with questions of various point values:
Category 1: Intro to Algebra 2 - identifying rational/irrational numbers, solving literal expressions, evaluating a piecewise function
Category 2: Algebraic Skills - performing operations with polynomials and rational expressions
Category 3: Quadratics - finding real and imaginary solutions for a quadratic function by all methods of solving
Category 4: Polynomials - determining end behavior, solving equations when the degree is larger than 2
Category 5: Miscellaneous - some math, some just for fun!
The answer is revealed when the teacher clicks with the mouse or presses Enter. The PowerPoint is also linked to return to the home screen by clicking Back at the bottom of the slide. The Preview shows 4 slides of the game.
