Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors: Rational Functions Stations Lab Activity
In this activity, students will practice the concepts presented in the first half of the RATIONAL FUNCTIONS UNIT for Algebra 2. Students will review 1) direct and inverse variation, 2) writing equations that model variation, 3) writing equations for translations of rational functions 4) graphing rational functions, and 5) analyzing graphs of rational functions.
The only prep work is to copy the 9 station cards on cardstock and place them around the room, then copy enough STUDENT RECORDING SHEETS for each student to work through the stations. Directions for a variety of ways to use the activity are included, as well as a complete answer key.
You need Smart Notebook software to run the presentation.
It can be displayed through the software and a projector. If you don't have a SmartBoard, you can also use an IPAD App , such as SplashTop, to remotely write on the presentation. You can also use Smart Notebook Express
