In this activity, students will practice solving quadratic equations by factoring.
There are 15 equations that students must solve by factoring. Students must be able to factor trinomials that have a coefficient of 1 as the leading term. They must also be able to factor differences of squares. As they solve each equation, they will find a specific pattern that they need to use to color the boxes at the top of the page.
One of the boxes has been filled in for the students.
Fun for the students, great practice, and easy to grade!
