This project was designed as a year-long project, each part to be handed in at the end of a semester. Many student dislike note-taking and hate math, therefore, don't do the work. With this project, each student will be responsible for turning their "boring" math notes into comic book format, striving from only the "knowledge" level of blooms taxonomy built into the usual note taking task and transforming it into an "analysis" level of bloom's taxonomy. This project can be easily modified for any level of math or type of math to enhance education and ensure that students are actively involved. Being able to read, create and then explain something in a comic book shows true understanding and is very relevant to today's students.
This project could be easily modified for a quarter system, as well as, geometry, basic algebra, pre-algebra, pre-calculus, trigonometry, algebra 2, calculus and 1-6 grade math!
