Are you looking for another way to try and reach every learner in your Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 class? Sometimes, students just need to see a topic presented in another way. If so, flowcharts may be just the thing your students need to find success! These flowcharts do an amazing job at breaking down complex processes, and help students build confidence and gradually gain independence in being able to complete a problem on their own! They even help your students with organization!

Perfect for differentiation and scaffolding, these flowcharts are designed to help each and every one of your students be able to master their algebra concepts! Made for Algebra 1 or Algebra 2, everything from solving multi-step equations and finding domain and range to solving systems of equations and solving quadratic equations is included. Even graphing topics like transformations of absolute value functions and graphing exponential functions are included, too!

These flowchart organizer tools will become your go-to differentiation and scaffolding strategy for helping every student master algebra concepts. Best of all— by purchasing this bundle you will get all of my Algebra flowcharts in one place! As more resources get added to this bundle, the price will increase—buy it now and you get free updates whenever a new flowchart gets added to my store!

If you have never used one of my flowcharts, here's a bit of information:

    (1) They're great for improving student independence and help to build confidence.

    (2) They can be used with pretty much any problem which makes them an extremely flexible and powerful tool in your classroom. For this reason, the flowcharts are intentionally left blank! Pick a problem, and the flowchart will handle it.

    (3) They're great for your struggling or reluctant learners as well as the high fliers in your classroom.

    (4) You can use them in SO many ways!

★ Use them to introduce a lesson

★ For remediation with struggling students

★ To extend or pre-teach with above-level students

★ As an error analysis tool

    ★ Notes

    ★ Laminated for in-class practice

    ★ Reference sheets

    ★ Study Guides

    ★ Exit Slips or warm-ups

All flowcharts are available in 3 sizing options with three versions included:

    (1) Full-Sheet size, 1 per full page of paper.

    (2) Half-Sheet Size (2 per page--cut in half and glue into interactive notebooks!)

    (3) Mini-Book Size - The mini-book, or "booklet" size, fits 3 flowcharts, and is my favorite version to use in interactive notebooks!

What's MY favorite way to use these flowcharts?

Glad you asked! I LOVE to use the mini-book format whenever I introduce a new topic. The mini-book format has 3 flowcharts printed on one sheet of paper and is phenomenal for introducing a new topic in your notes! This allows me to clearly model to students both the process and what questions they need to be asking themselves whenever they encounter a problem of this type and helps them to start internalizing the set of steps they'll need to take. After doing some modeled examples as a class, I like to transition into doing example problems without the flowchart. If students need to reference it, they totally can, but we're no longer doing problems on the flowchart itself. The flowchart mini-book with the three examples is now an incredible reference for students to look back on as needed!

TIP: I have really loved laminating a class set of the full sheet size so students can work on the flowchart template with a dry erase marker. Or, using plastic pouches works great, too!

Product Note: Flowcharts have been left blank for increased flexibility. Pictures in the preview file show how you can utilize the flowchart with ANY problem. By leaving them blank, you can pick any problem to walk your students through, or they can use the flowchart whenever they get stuck on a problem they're working on independently. No matter the problem, the flowchart is built to handle it.
