Algebra Graphing Lines using the Slope Intercept method Interactive Google slide Resource. #tptdigital
This Teach Interactive™ digital activity is designed for any Algebra class and is perfect for the unit on graphing linear functions with the slope intercept method.
This activity makes graphing linear equation fun, challenging and truly engaging. Each slide has movable pieces so students become an integral part of the learning experience. It is self checking also.
After opening the very colorful and fun - themed slides, your students first determine whether a given equation is in slope intercept form. If it is not, they transform it and enter the equation on the slide. Then they plot a few points using interactive points. Next your student graph the equation right on the slide using interactive lines being very careful to be accurate.
The graph has three pictures on it. When the students graphs the line correctly, the line will pass through one of the pictures, and the student earns points. There are 15 graphs. At the end of the lesson, the students add their points. If the sum matches a special number (included in the answer key), they graphed them all correctly. If not, they have to go back and check.
Full directions are given as well as full teacher solutions.
