Use this Q and A game (a jeopardy type game) to engage your whole class in a review of the basic concepts of Expressions, Equations, and Functions.
The game has 5 different categories with 5 questions in each category: Evaluating Expressions, Writing Expressions, Functions as Rules and Tables, Functions as Graphs, and Hodge-Podge.
When a student chooses a category and an amount the game takes them to a question. You, as the teacher, can decide how much time a students or a group of students get to answer the question. At the end of the time limit when you are ready to reveal the answer use the right arrow or forward key. This could lead to; additional discussion with the rest of the students about the answers or the way it was solved. Then to return to the game board click on the rectangle labeled "Q and A". When you return to the game board, the question you just read has changed color, so you know that you have already answered it.
Included on the board is a hidden bonus question. There is also a Final Question. There are solutions to all questions.
The questions have been based upon the materials from Larson, Boswell, Kanold, and Stiff's Algebra I - Chapter 1.
My store also has the same file, by the same name, available in a smartboard file.
