This is a basic 4 door shutterfold foldable.
It leaves a lot open for you to create a lesson.
Here is how I use this foldable:
I have students select one color marker. They get to color in the I for Quadrant I on the front flap. Then the students open that flap and plot one point in that quadrant. We discuss what the ordered pair is for that point. I then ask, "What would every x-value and y-value in Quadrant I have in common?" I direct them so they would say both positive. Two plus signs go in the blank ordered pair.
I would repeat that for the other 3 quadrants.
Lastly, I would plot the origin and label it. I would also plot a point on the x and y-axes and label "no quadrant" next to them.
