This is a power point warm-up or bell ringer activity or quick pop quiz for an Algebra 1 class. There are 10 pages of multiple choice questions. Each page gives an inequality and asks students to choose the correct number line for the inequality in a multiple choice style format. Eight of the inequalities have the variable on the left, two have the variable on the right.
Students should have a paper numbered 1 to 10 before beginning. This would make a great pop quiz in the middle or at the end of a lesson or the next day after the lesson. But you could also use it as a guided practice. The arrows are red so even students in the back of the room can see them easily.
The last page of the power point has the answers.
I use this as a warm-up following the first lesson of my unit on Inequalities presented in my Guided Presentation Notes Unit 3, available here on TPT.
