A great resource to use during your Equations unit! I usually have half the class do some book work and the other half do the scavenger hunt, then switch.
This scavenger hunt is best for a small group of students, who are then divided in half- Group 1 and Group 2. Group 1 will complete 10 questions and Group 2 will complete 9.
Group 1 is given their starting question (Starter Question 1) and Group 2 is given their starting question (Starter Question 2) to begin the hunt.
The Students work their way through the cards, with the answer to their question being the number envelope they go to next.
At the end of the hunt will be a finish card with a secret message that the students must deliver to the teacher
Cards are to be printed out and you can paste to cardboard or index card. The number cards can be pasted to the outside of an envelope with the corresponding clue inside. Scatter the clue envelopes around the room.
