Product Description
This download contains 4 Algebra puzzles covering slope (2 puzzles), linear equations and inverse functions. You can read more about each puzzle in the individual descriptions below:

Slope Puzzle
Slope comes in many forms. In this activity, students cut out 24 puzzle pieces with different representations of slope (graphs, tables, equations, coordinate pairs, right triangles) and fit same-slope pieces together. Each completed puzzle has 4 pieces with a graph, table, coordinate pair and either a right triangle or an equation on each of the pieces. When completed, each activity makes 6 completed puzzles with puzzles for slope 0, undefined slope, and slopes 1 through 4. Puzzle pieces are not matched on the sheets so that students can be in charge of cutting them out. The preview is a completed activity printed on colorful paper (actual puzzle pieces are larger, 2 completed puzzles will fit on 1 piece of paper).

Slope 4 Ways Puzzle
Slopes can be positive, negative, zero or undefined. This puzzle covers the 4 slope types with equations, tables, graphs and sets of coordinate pairs. Students match puzzle pieces with the same slope type to each other to make 4 completed puzzles, each with 4 pieces.

You will receive 2 versions of the puzzle: one large that can be used as an activity, and one small that is good to glue into a notebook. An answer key is included.

Linear Equations Puzzle
Linear Equations. In this activity, students cut out 24 puzzle pieces with different representations of the same equation: in slope-intercept form, point-slope form, and standard form. The 4th piece of each puzzle shows a graph or table of the equation. Students fit same-equation pieces together. When completed, each student or pair of students will make 6 puzzles, each with 4 pieces.

This activity is great practice for translating between the different forms of linear equations and also for recognizing an equation given its graph or table.

Puzzle pieces are not matched on the sheets so that students can be in charge of cutting them out. The preview is a completed activity printed on colorful paper (actual puzzle pieces are larger, 2 completed puzzles will fit on 1 piece of paper).

Inverse Functions Puzzle
Inverse Functions puzzle. In this activity, students cut out 24 puzzle pieces to create 6 completed inverse functions puzzles. Each completed puzzle will have:

1 piece showing a function
1 piece showing the function's inverse
1 piece showing the graphs of both functions
1 piece showing tables of both functions

Puzzle pieces are not matched on the sheets so that students can be in charge of cutting them out. There are 8 puzzle pieces on each sheet of paper. You can see the full download in the product preview.
