Transformation of Graphs of Functions Task Cards, Optional QR and 2 Handouts which can be used for HW, assessment or enrichment.
This activity is intended to be used in an Algebra 2, PreCalculus, or College Algebra classes and is designed for students to use their reasoning skills along with their algebraic skills. The cards reinforce the concepts of graphs of the transformations of functions.

The types of functions include:
Parabolas, Absolute value functions, Square root, Logarithmic, Cubed, Cube root, Greatest integer, Exponential, and Reciprocal functions.
Included in the Lesson:
•Two sets of 28 cards
, one with QR codes, and one without. Each set of four graphs has similar questions and the cards are organized with a color coding system (and numbering system for like problems) which can help with sorting and or grouping the students. There are four cards to a standard sheet of paper.
• Student response sheets are included.
Students can optionally check their task card answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a mobile QR scanner app is required.
•Two versions of a handout
which can be used as an assessment, homework, or enrichment.
