Radical Equations Digital Interactive Task Cards for Algebra 1 with Google® Slides, Paperless and NO Prep for you
Your students will practice solving radical equations with the 16 cards in this set. There is a good variety of questions which should help then master the topic. On several problems they must first isolate the radical to solve. Your students must be able to solve quadratic and linear equations to complete some problems. All the problems have only one radical. There are a few questions with roots other than square root and one question with a fractional exponent and there is one application. Students must check for extraneous solutions.
This Teach Interactive ™ resource includes the sixteen digital task cards plus a digital answer sheet. A black and white printable answer sheet is also included should you want a blended activity. Your students can enter their answers on the individual slides or use the response sheet. Because each student has their own digital copy, they can also make notes on the slides and refer to them later for review. As with traditional task cards, students can work alone or in groups. This activity can also be used for HW or an assessment.
Detailed illustrated instructions on accessing and sharing this resource with your students are included as well as the link to the product. An answer key is included.
Task Cards really do work! They get the students engaged and keep them motivated to go through all of the problems, more so than a simple worksheet.
