This set of 40 task cards will help your students keep their minds on math on a day close to Spring Break.
There are 8 different algebra topics covered in the first 32 cards. Each topic has four cards that go with it:
Working with percents
Finding the missing side of a right triangle
Writing the equation of a line given a slope and a point and two points
Writing the equation of a line from a graph
I have also included 8 additional cards on two additional topics that are un-numbered. You can use these 8 cards to replace any of the original cards that your students haven’t learned yet or that you don’t think they need to practice. You can number these cards as you wish.
Working with Exponents
Working with Scientific Notation
You could easily make a game from these cards, use each set of 4 cards as a station, or give each group of students some or all of the cards to complete.
A sheet that students can use to record their answers is included.
An answer key is also included.
This would also be an excellent algebra review for a Geometry class.
(These cards and problems are all different than my Halloween Algebra Review or my Thanksgiving Algebra Review.)
