Algebra Tiles are an incredibly powerful tool that can help students visualize complex Algebraic concepts. This foldable lays the foundation for investigation. The foldable includes the area of the tiles (which explains why each tile has the name it does), the names of the tiles and what a zero pair looks like. There are several versions included. I use the most "blank" version in my class because I like to have my students draw and color the pieces but I have included versions that are at different stages of completion so you can decide how much or how little you want the students to fill in. The completed foldable is included and you can use that as your "answer key" or you can print this version for absent students.
