here: Algebra Year Long Activities Bundle Including Holiday and Seasonal Activities
. Great value with close to 100 products!
This bundle includes over 30 Algebra activities that can be used throughout the course of a year. It is a combination of various activities from our store grouped into one folder at a discounted price; for about a third of what it would cost to purchase the items separately. As we continue to upload additional products to our store, we will also be revising the bundle and increasing the price. If you have already purchased the bundle, you will be notified that we have revised the file and be given the opportunity to get the upgraded file at no additional cost.
We also are offering this bundle in conjuction with our seasonal and holiday activities bundle. For more information, take a look at Algebra Year Long Activities Bundle Including Holiday and Seasonal Activities
Included in the bundle are a variety of match games, puzzles (printable and computer) and a powerpoint presentation. To conduct the match games, you will cut out the varying puzzle pieces and hand them out to the individual student or group. They then are to simplify the expressions or solve the equations and match it up with the other expression/equation with the same answer. The other options for the match games is to conduct them as an "I have, who has?" format. For "I have, who has" you can pass only one or two pieces out to all students in the class and have them find the other student who has the same expression or equation. This is a great way to get students up and moving around the classroom.
There also are a multitude of 4 x 4 puzzle activities. In these activities, there are 16 pieces that form together to form a 4 x 4 square. Students have to match the answer next to the equation (in combining like terms the two equivalent expressions) to form the completed puzzle. Many puzzles include different versions so you can differentiate amongst ability groups. The more difficut puzzles include numbers/solutions around the outside that are repeated from the middle of the puzzle, giving the students practice using their inductive reasoning and critical thinking skills. We have begun to include computer versions of these puzzles that you can use in combination with the printable version on your Smartboard or on their own as a computer lab activity.
Also included is our Linear Equations Sort. This activity includes the slope intercept form, standard form, point slope form, slope, x-intercept, y-intercept, and graphs for eight different linear equations. Students can match up the various properties/forms of each equation all at once, or you can separate the sort and only focus on one or two of the forms of equations or properties. This is a very flexible activity.
