A great way to teach students the basics of algebra, using visual representations, tables and number patterns.
Included are several activities and booklets on how to train students to use a table and look for number patterns to 'make a rule'.
There are also lots of activities on Scratch (you will need to download it for free from here - https://scratch.mit.edu/scratch_1.4/ ) that reinforce concepts and will inspire student to create their own visual representations. If you press A on most of them, the algebraic formulas/rules will be displayed and students can make their own patterns/rules by recording results.
Download the SAMPLE first and have a look, and if you're impressed then please download the full version and rate. I really appreciate it, thanks!
