This booklet is designed to give students extra practice with each of the skills associated with fourth-grade Algebra.
Used as a whole-class review, individual assignment, in a math center, or in guided math groups, the teacher can immediately pinpoint individual skills students have mastered and those they have yet to secure related to Algebra.
In my classroom, students are assigned to a math group based on data collected from benchmark assessments. These groups meet weekly, and I use this booklet (and others listed below) to guide students through the skills they need to master in fourth grade. The review activities and questions are created with state testing in mind, showing students various ways they may be asked to show their knowledge of a variety of skills.
Friendly Tip: On many copy machines there is a “Magazine Sort” option. Use this option to turn this full-size packet into a half-sized booklet.
