There are two activity sheets (worksheets) here that are facts about Abraham Lincoln. They look almost identical for those who have students with wandering eyes or to go over as practice and independent practice. **These are the same FACTS as our "Order of Operations-Facts about Abraham Lincoln", but the math problems are obviously different.
Students are to solve fairly easy algebraic equations. Some are one step, but many are more than one step. Only addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are used on these problems. No negative answers are on this worksheet. Also, no dividing thru or multiplying thru by -1 to clear variables. Several have exponent of number 2 or number 3. These can become more cross-curricular by having students write the information that they have discovered in complete sentences or in paragraphs.
All of these are created by me and you will probably find mistakes because I have not given this to my students yet. If you do, please contact me. I can probably correct it pretty easily and send you a corrected copy back to you. I nearly always find mistakes while going over the papers with my students, even though I have really tried to remove all errors!
I think that these are worthwhile activities for Presidents Day (Week) or for Lincoln’s birthday. I hope that you enjoy them. You may make copies for YOUR classroom this year and in years to come, but you may not share this product with others. These are the same questions, some answers have been rearranged, as the Abraham Lincoln Order of Operations BUT different math problems (obviously). :-)
Thank you for your purchase, I hope you enjoy this activity.
