This can be completed in groups, or individually, depending on how much practice the students need. Cut out the arrows and have your students match, laying them out just as they are printed.
There are 20 equations to match simple word problems, and 15 equations to match longer word problems. The equations are very similar, using the same variable, n, and sometimes using the same constant and coefficients in equations that were similar, to make sure the students are choosing the correct operation for the word problems.
There is also a set of copies of all 35 matching arrows with the right arrows left blank for students to write in the equation.
There is an answer sheet for the equations if you choose to have your students solve. (**A couple of these questions while solving require dividing negative numbers, check before having them solve if they have not been taught to solve equations with negative numbers)
Lastly, there is also a completely blank arrows sheet for you to make your own.
