Three years ago, I began creating Nine Square Craze to increase engagement in an intervention classroom. I had to find a different way to help my students grow without requiring additional hours of planning and preparation on top of the time I was already spending planning three grade levels of math instruction. I also needed activities that I could easily fit into a class period or as a station in a workshop structured classroom.

Each Nine Square Craze product includes three individual activities at three different rigor levels- practical DIFFERENTIATION!
• Level 1 Board: Foundation computation/knowledge practice for the content/CCSS.
• Level 2 Board: Increases the computational processes, sometimes requiring more than one step.
• Level 3 Board: Higher rigor computation and often includes real-world applications.
Each level has THREE formats:
1. The Original: Black font no background: great for printing on color card stock/ paper.
2. Zany Numbers: Squares are numbered randomly for students to move around the board.
3. The Path: A more traditional game board format.
