In this fun and easy-to-use pre-Easter review of algebraic expressions, students write and/or simplify 22 different “eggspressions”, find an appropriate matching expression, and fill in the blanks at the bottom of the page to solve the Easter riddle. This product is ideal for the middle to end of any unit on algebraic expressions for a sixth or seventh grade math class, or for a quick review of expressions by an algebra or pre-algebra class. To be able to solve this 30 minute puzzle, students should have some prior experience with each of the following:
- Writing algebraic expressions from phrases.
- Utilizing the Distributive Property.
- Simplifying expressions by combining like terms.
Instructions for the students are simple and self-explanatory. A detailed answer key is provided for review with your students.
