Help students remember those pesky properties!
These flashcards offer students a chance to interact with their review and new properties. They can be used as warm ups, a class brain break, or some practice built into the lesson.
The first set of properties include:
Commutative, associative, inverse, identity, and distributive.
Since students have learned these in past years, some include more challenging examples than they've seen before.
The second set includes properties new to Algebra students:
closure, reflexive, transitive, symmetric, zero product, and the properties of equality and inequality (+, -, x, /).
Practice makes perfect, and these flashcards give students the chance to learn and review their properties. They can also be used throughout the year to keep the topic fresh with your students.
Bonus: Printed one-sided, these flashcards can turn into a memory game!
