A hands-on way for students to practice placing integers on a number line. First, students cut out and place the alien integers on the number line. Next, they number two blank aliens with integers and place them, as well. The final task has them number a whole set of integers and place them. This could also be used as an assessment.
*Includes two sets of the same tasks: 1 with numbers showing on the number lines, 1 with only zero marked on the number lines. Allows you to differentiate as needed.
Aligned to CCSS 6.NS.7c, but great for 7th grade review, too.
