14. Two final tests with answer key (The first has 25 multiple choice questions, 5 multiple choice questions on using an outline, and 3 open response paragraphs to choose from. The second is a shorter and simpler test, designed to be students' first "closed book" test, and includes a map activity that includes all the regions. This test is useful for my class because I teach the West unit at the end of the year after we’ve studied the other regions).

You will need:
* Nonfiction articles on each region. I have included links to online articles to get you started if you do not have a social studies text.
* Transparency sheet (for displaying one of the included maps)
* Index cards
* Sand, plastic spoons and glue (for elevation map project)
* Hole punch (for stamp and timeline projects)
* Colored pencils and crayons (for most projects)
* Chalk pastels, tissues (for 2 art projects)
* Colored construction paper
