These worksheets are a fantastic inclusion to any study of unit on Australia. Students will have the opportunity to explore where Australia is in the world, identify the different States and Territories of Australia and identify various landmarks and their locations throughout Australia. Students will also be able to sort these landmarks between natural and manmade and then explore the significance of each one in order to prepare a persuasive argument to present to the government highlighting which landmark is more important to preserve.
There are options for students to write, draw, cut and glue depending on the age level of your students. These worksheets will broaden your student's understanding of the geography that makes Australia unique.
Information sheets are provided for the following landmarks:
The Bungle Bungles
The Twelve Apostles
The Three Sisters
Sydney Opera House
