This resource is packed full of activities to use in your class during your "Reindeer Week" or caribou study! Students love learning about reindeer, and this unit allows you to reinforce important comprehension and writing skills! This product was created with 1st and 2nd grade studnets in mind, but could easily be used in a kindergarten classroom! The following pages are included.

I compiled a short list of informative videos and nonfiction books to use during this study. However, you can use any book in your classroom about reindeer, caribou, or even arctic animals.

All About Caribou Reader

I've included 18 pages of interesting reindeer facts for students to read and illustrate. As a class, you can go through a few pages at a time, or students can work through it independently. Because i've included so many, you can choose the pages that work best for your class. Students will visualize and illustrate the information provided on each page.

Students will love sharing their thinking with partners and adding it to your class charts all about caribou. I've included the headers you'll need for each chart. You can use these during a whole group lesson or allow students to add to them throughout the unit.
