I love All About Me banners, but even the easiest ones I find are too hard for my Kindergartners. I made this one so it can be done at the beginning of Kindergarten and displayed for Back To School Night.
The students just need to write their name, write a number for how old they are, color a star to show their favorite color, and write a number for how many people in their families.
I also use these for my students to share during the first few weeks of school. One of our priority goals is for students to learn the rules of conversation. Each child takes his/her turn to share his banner with the class and/or a partner. The pictures guide students through presenting in complete sentences. "My name is..., I am 5 years old. My favorite color is..."
This has been on my to do list for 2 years. I hope you like it and it makes your first few days of school fun, cute, and EASY!!! Don't we all need that?????
Please forgive my artwork! One of the benefits of teaching Kindergarten is they all think you color and draw fabulously. I do, however, know for a fact that is not true. Be kind! LOL
Included in this download are banners for PreK, TK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. Each banner says "Rockin' in my _____ shoes!" by the image of the Cool Cat.
