This adorable mini book is the perfect way to teach kindergarten and first grade students how to write a complete sentence. Picture word banks and sentence starters provide students with support and scaffolding to build their writing confidence. Students love to share what they like on each page of their book. On the top line they choose a word from the picture word bank to finish the sentence starter, "I like _____" and then on the second line they rewrite the complete sentence on their own. Reminder boxes can be checked to start with a capital letter, use finger spaces and end with punctuation.
