Take Home Activities are created to help support student learning in topics at school with their prior knowledge and learning at home. These activities support language, communication, concept and skill development. The activities are interactive learning opportunities to be completed with a parent and then brought back to school to share. Building connections between school and home strengthens student learning.
This is a great way to get to know students at the beginning of the year. Print and send home the student books with the parent directions note. Have staff and students complete the books and bring the first week of school to share! The book is three pages with the cover and includes spaces for their pictures, family, favorite colors, foods, places and more.
