All About Me Get To Know You Activity for Teletherapy or Print

- PDF

What educators are saying
Description
This resource can be used for a therapist or teacher to get to know a new student, or for two students to get to know each other in a group setting. The two people can ask each other questions until all spaces are filled in. The map is included for teletherapy sessions where the two people may live in different areas of the country.
In addition to getting to know someone, this is a great activity to target social skills such as:
• Asking follow-up questions
• Making related comments
• Using an appropriate length of conversational turn
• Topic maintenance and shifts
The color version of the resource has two response forms per page, so that both forms can be viewed simultaneously on a digital device. It can be used with any PDF reader on a computer (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader) or iPad (such as iBooks). It can also be loaded within a teletherapy platform. The white text boxes are fillable if using in a PDF reader.
The black/white version has one response form per page and is designed to be printed for face-to-face therapy.
