FREE for Back To School Fun Activity, Tried and True! I have used the ‘Me Box' activity for many years as a way to introduce my students to each other (and to me!). I assign it as homework on the first day and give students 2-3 nights to complete it. Alternatively, students could do the project in school and bring in items from home to place in their boxes. Sharing the boxes on the last day of the first week of school is a fun way to conclude this exciting week.
I have also included an optional writing activity extension.
In this download you will find a set of instructions to hand-out to students. I have provided a set in full color and in grayscale so that you can use whichever version works best for you.
