Three (3) transdisciplinary (language arts/poetry and math) lessons to help students explore the following:
Learning about ourselves helps us understand and connect to ourselves and others in the world.
SWBAT identify and communicate things he/she likes and dislikes
SWBAT compare and contrast likes and dislikes with other students/people
SWBAT create a Venn Diagram
SWBAT research, collect, record, organize, interpret, present (graph/Venn Diagram), and analyze data/research findings
SWBAT write an acrostic poem

How can I show what I have learned about myself?
How am I similar to and different than others?
This document also includes four (4) differentiated versions of a like/dislike profile form, which can be used as is, quickly tweaked to meet the interests of your students, or provided as an example for the class to then make their own.
