All About Me Pennant | Back to School | Getting to Know You Banner

- PDF

Description
Make a banner for your classroom and GET TO KNOW your students. This is a great beginning of the year activity. Perfect for a first day of school activity. Each student makes his/her own pennant for your classroom banner! There is also a booklet/placemat form if your prefer. Ideas and directions are included.
Students complete a line drawing to make a self-portrait and write their name. Side 2 has a space for their name and two writing prompts to complete:
- My name is ...
- I like to ...
- I am unique because...
There are assorted colors and also a blank pennant. You can choose one or two colors or all to make your banner. This is a fun and engaging activity. Great for display for "Meet the Teacher" night, too.
Pennant triangles fit on an standard size paper for printing (8.5" x 11").
