This is a PowerPoint I created originally to be used in an art room, but this would work well in multiple learning environments. The presentation covers the diet, habitat, lifestyle of owls and emphasizes the different physical characteristics of each owl species. This PP has interactive components such as a mini-activity where students measure each others' "wingspan" using a yardstick. The PP goes on to focus on five different owl species so students may compare and contrast their diverse sizes and markings. The PP includes an embedded video that shows how an owl can turn its head 180 degrees and several audio clips of owl calls.
