All About Owls- NEWLY REVISED (October 2016)

This packet will help your kindergarten and first grade students learn, understand, and practice using the science terms used when talking about owls. It also will provide you with resources to make your unit come to life. By integrating science and nonfiction into your language lessons, you not only create an enthusiasm in your students, but you can create the "hook" you need to engage even the most reluctant learners.

This packet is aligned to the NGSS standards as well as the Texas TEKS. (They are included in the packet for you to reference as well as at the top of the lesson plans!) It includes many resources including: fully written out 5-E lesson plans, 3- part cards, pocket chart cards, (both featuring high quality pictures) student vocabulary books, center activities, posters, recording pages, science activities/projects, and so much more!

In using this pack, students will meet these objectives:

Many of the lessons also contain links to videos and resources to use while teaching the lesson!
