Ahoy! Ahoy!

This product will help your students learn all about pirates! Your students will learn pirate-related vocabulary terms, pirate facts, a student reader, ABC sort, recording pages, writing pages, activities to learn to talk like a pirate, true/false activities, a map-making activity, treasure activity, and an activity practicing different activities wearing an eye patch.

This is perfect for Talk Like A Pirate Day (or for the whole week) which is September 19th, but it's really great for all year round!

Vocabulary Cards for the following words: Jolly Roger, junks, buccaneers, privateers, compass, navigate, cannon, galley, booty, loot, fleet, and cutlass. Also included is a vocabulary journal for you to include these words or other pirate words that your class finds interesting.

Treasure Box Activity- Learn what "treasure" means, discuss what is treasure to your students with graphic organizers and writing pages. Activity includes students bringing in an item they treasure to share with the class.

With One Eye... Eye Patch Activity- Your students can practice doing activities such as write, read, walk around the room, etc. with an eye patch on. What is difficult for them with seeing with one eye as opposed to two?
