This resource provides you with a set of thirteen mini-posters (8.5” X 11”) of preschool/pre-k children engaged in different activities such as
* using building blocks
* finger painting
* sitting quietly
* playing with shaving cream
* eating lunch
* looking at a book
* playing with shapes
* painting at easel
* playing at the water table
* drawing a picture
* napping and more.
Here are some suggestions for using the Mini-posters:
Mini-posters can be used during Circle Time to provide students with an orientation to preschool.
Posters can help you explain class rules and routines associated with daily activities by providing visual cues for students.
Activities can help expand students' vocabulary.
Question prompts are provided to help generate class discussions.
Children will learn to make predictions as well as connections to self.
Encourage the use of complete sentences and model responses when students respond to questions.
Also included are:
A sixteen page mini-book with black and white line drawings of the same graphics is included. Mini-book reinforces the class discussions. Print out, cut out and select the pages you want to include in students’ booklets. Staple sides and you are good to go!
Directions for a lesson to instruct children in creating a circle and turning the circle into other objects (sun, spider, happy face) are included. Children can also color the pages of their book.
Hope your little ones have fun learning in Preschool!
