Want a simple way to quickly assess students on a specific number or just an activity when working with teen number? Well here you are! I used this product in different ways (see below) and I like it best as an exit ticket. When working with teen numbers, we introduce a number a day. For example, Monday, we introduce the number eleven and on Tuesday I introduce the number 12, etc. After the mini-lesson is complete and the students have worked with the number in small groups I use this product to informally assess what students learned about the specific number that was introduced.
Ways to use:
1. Informal Assessment
2. Have students choose the number to represent.
3. Teacher chooses the number for the student.
4. Pair students up to complete a number (I pair up a high student with a student that needs help)
6. Exit Slip
