All About the Elements Project

Contained within this resource is a complete project for your students to create based upon one element in the Periodic Table. Your students will be asked to create an Element Poster, with all of the basic research information about that element. Your students will have a requirement sheet, complete with picture examples, of exactly what they will need to research and find out about the element. The final product poster will include the following sections:

Element name and symbol
Element Numbers
Element History
Element Diagram
Element Properties

The students will also be required to create a diorama filled with a minimum of 5 items made from the element. This part of the project is where your students can be creative, while still showing their understanding of the element itself.

Finally, your students will be asked to create a model of the element atom itself.

All student pages have pictures, as well as specific directions, so that the students can complete this project independently.
