This cute, motivational activity will make repetition of target sounds in words, phrases and sentences FUN! It targets students in grades preK – 2 for articulation of the B sound in the initial, medial and final positions of words, phrases, and sentences. Students complete a task, and are rewarded by drawing or putting a tooth on the wide mouthed child.
Targeted B Words
Targeted B words for articulation include, ball, bear, bee, bell, bat, button, lady bug, zebra, rabbit, robot, sail boat, umbrella, bib, sob, cob, tub, cube, and cub. The children’s names are Bailey, Bella, Bri, Brooke, Ben Billy Bobby and Brent.

Suggested Activities for Target Words, Phrases and Sentences
Tasks
1. Have the student say one word a predetermined number of times (i.e., 1-10 times) and then draw a tooth in the mouth as a reward.
2. Have the student say a predetermined number of words, or a row of words and then draw a tooth in the mouth as a reward.
3. Have the student say all of the words and then draw a tooth in the mouth.
4. Have the student use a sentence starter such as, “I see a ___”. “Bella likes _____.
5. Have the child make up a sentence using the word.
When you are done you could count the number of teeth the student has drawn, color pictures on the page, etc.
Game
If you are working with more than one child, all the children could count the number of teeth they earned, and the student with the most teeth is the winner.
