For use with the short story, "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury.
Students have the option to create either:
* A Sun-spot mandala, where they choose descriptive language from the story. It should be descriptive language that highlights the difference between their hour of sunny weather vs. the rain they normally experience.
*An "About Me" poem, using a common structure. They will write a poem based on themselves. They will write a second poem from Margot's, the main character from the story, perspective.
