In this document you will find a reading assessment for Ray Bradbury’s science fiction short story “All Summer in a Day,” comprised of fifteen questions. Six of the questions are double-decker questions in the PARCC format. They have a Part A and a Part B. Included is an answer key.
While reading this story, be sure to cover the difference between a symbol and an archetype and the genre of science fiction and fantasy. Take a look at the assessment prior to reading the story so that you are assured of covering all items on the assessment.
I left the short-answer question as the last in the event you want to eliminate it by covering it over during the copying process.
