Who doesn't like to think about the beach! This is a fun Reader's Theater that lists everything needed for a beach! It would be great to read right before the summer or during summer school.
There are roles for four students. I also incorporate the use of the word "ALL" so that the students periodically read in unison. This requires them to continually pay attention to the script and not just wait for "their" parts.
Headbands/necklaces are included to identify the readers. Copy them onto cardstock first. Then hole-punch at the top and lace with yarn to make a necklace. To make a headband, staple to a long strip of construction paper!
This cute story was written by Alice Schertle. The Accelerated Reader test number is 77073. The grade level is listed as 2.3.
Please feel free to change the script in any manner that you would like!
