Roche, Papier, Ciseaux. Students will love this rock, paper, scissors game that uses high frequency French verb conjugations and translations. Place students in groups of two. Students will play "Roche, Papier, Ciseaux" to see who can advance their game piece. If a student wins with rock they move forward one space, a win with scissors would be a 2 space move, and a win with paper would be going forward 3 spaces. The next step is conjugating and translating. If a student is unable to conjugate AND translate the pronoun/verb correctly he/she would lose 1 turn. The first student that makes it to the "la fin" box wins.
Paper clips and eraser tops work great for game pieces.
French verbs in this set include: Aller, Avoir, Faire, Etre.
