This "Alphabet Avengers" center can be used in a classroom or library setting for multiple grades!
You print out, and optionally laminate, the illustrated alphabet cards. Each student then gets a provided, printable page with space to alphabetize the words on the cards. You could also laminate these papers and have students use dry erase markers on them.
I've included three different levels of alphabet cards for students to sort so there are three complete sets of 26 cards. I use these with my grades K-5 students depending on the level.
I find this type of alphabetical order activity is helpful when introducing and practicing the way in which our fiction and picture book sections are organized.
