This is a wonderful resource to use in small groups to work with Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten or First Grade students who are working on letter identification! There are 4 different ways to use this resource!
• Use the yellow cards when you want to use both capital and lowercase letters together. This is great way for students who do not yet recognize both upper and lower case letters, but they may know at least one.
• The blue game cards can be used for a mixture of upper and lower case letters. This option is great for those who have a good understanding of both upper and lower case letters.
• The green game cards are meant to focus on lower case letters only.
• The orange cards focus on upper case letters only.
Following the game boards you will find the call letters and cover pieces.
Simply print all pages in color onto cardstock. Laminate and cut out all pieces. The games are meant to be played like traditional BINGO. The teacher will pull a call card and students will cover the letter called. Be sure to specify upper or lower case when the letter is called. This is best played in small groups to be sure that students are covering the correct letters since this game is meant to teach or reinforce the identification of letters and/or their sounds. You can also call out the sound and have students cover the letter to work on letter sounds.
